One of the more family friendly of the Greek islands, Kos is perfect for beach lovers and history lovers alike. Kos is ideal to explore with the kids as it is a pedestrian only old town. So no need to worry about the kids getting carried away exploring new sights!

Get out of the hotels and visit some of the many thermal springs, water-parks and ancient ruins. It gets incredibly busy in the peak summer months so it is best to try and visit in early June before the crowds arrive, the rainy season is over and places of interest are a lot quieter.
