Best known for its rice fields, smouldering volcanoes, friendly people and beautiful beaches its certainly one to add to your bucket list. 

 

Fly into Manilla- the capital of the Philippines and spend your first few days exploring the sights with a guided bike tour and visit the many cultural dance shows. You can even learn to cook the local cuisine with the friendly locals. 

From Manilla head to Banaue. Here you can find beautiful rice terraces which are world heritage listed. 

For beautiful beaches head to Busuanga and the Calamian Islands. This group of islands in the far north of Palawan is an adventurers paradise. Here you can find wreck diving, kayaking, island hopping and even hire a motorbike. Its a region filled with white-sand beaches, coral reefs and a dense forest and mangrove swamps. 

Cebu is the most densely populated island in the Philippines and is one of the most prosperous regions in the country. The islands prime attractions are its white sandy beaches and spectacular diving. Cebu city is full of lively bars, eateries and shops to stroll around. 

Siargao is a must visit for keen surfers, you can also find plenty of rock pools to keep the little ones busy, mangrove swamps, plenty of wildlife, waterfalls and interesting rock formations.
