The third largest lake in Italy, Como is a hit with the rich and famous. Visit in July when the temperature is lovely and warm and the water-sports are in full swing. 

Lake Como is probably the most picturesque lake in Italy, with beautiful architecture, plenty of activities and a friendly atmosphere it's the perfect place for a family holiday. 

Ferries cross the water regularly taking you to villages such as Bellagio which is often thought of as the most beautiful town in Italy. Bellagio and Dervio have several beaches and lidos with public pools where you can relax and cool off with the kids. 

Como has plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained, hire bikes and cycle along the promenade, head to Domaso to have wind surfing lessons, or a short car ride away there is Jungle Raider Park where you can race along obstacle courses and have fun in the theme park. 

Hire a boat and admire some of the most impressive houses in Italy, with celebrities such as Elton John and George Clooney owning homes here who knows who you might bump into!

Italy is always great for food and Como is no exception, from beautiful fresh seafood to delicious local dishes there is something the whole family will enjoy!
